Currently at IBM where they are looking to start my green card process. Got an offer from D, and they will do my green card after a year.

Current H1B is valid till September 2024. With regards to timeline, is there anything I should consider or should I stick to IBM and get it done now?

In the meantime they are asking me to try for PR on my own and if I get it they will transfer immediately. I need some help. I love my partner but her insomnia is just painful.
She won't meditate. She won't do something relaxing. She won't get out of bed and reset when she can't sleep. She just lays there and then she gets frustrated and around 2am she's just a ball of tears because she can't sleep. US immigration question. Green card interview date was cancelled in March 2020. It’s been a whole year of just waiting for a reschedule date, so the I-485 is transferable (e.g. to another state, another employer). Has anyone transferred their i-485 to another employer? What was that process like? Would my process start from the interview phase? How did you prove that the next job was in the same category? Please mention if you did the process before or during the pandemic. Thanks so much.

Anybody here has been in a situation where they’ve been in a job/role that isn’t the right role but have had to stick around due to the visa situation? How long did you folks stay in that role? Is it worth leaving a role and restarting the visa/GC process or would you recommend sticking it out
