Yikes! I’m sure you’re naturally beautiful so wear sunscreen, drink lots of water, and skip the fillers.
I’m 27 and have been getting (minimal) filler and Botox since 22. It’s a personal choice to be actively preventative, but I will say, there’s a reason doctors suggest to do so (other than a profit, of course 😉)
Since I’m 30. I’m 35 now and I honestly support the Botox ideas but maximum 2x a year.
I started getting Botox at 30, I go twice a year for my forehead fine lines. It doesn’t make me look any younger necessarily but I notice that it makes me feel better. Am considering fillers for the under eye bags that come with more so with stress and less so with age.
I started earlier this year at 30! Botox on my “eleven” and under eye filler — gonna try in my jaw muscles next actually to help with TMJ/clenching my jaws, which causes headaches and teeth problems. Do it only if you want to, not because of pressure! It’s not cheap but I think well worth it
I waited until 42 for Botox and fillers. I was blessed with good genetics from my mom’s side in terms of skin but at some point all the years of being outdoors caught up with me and it seemed like overnight I was starting to really get fine lines around my eyes and forehead. In retrospect I wish I would’ve started Botox around 35. Just remember you can’t get Botox injections if your pregnant or trying to get pregnant, you’d have to pause the shots during that time frame.
I used to get Botox 2x a year but the amount of CCs was high to maintain that little frequency so that ended up really making my eyes too hooded which I didn’t like. I now do it 3x a year with less CCs each time for a lighter look and love it. I did a touch of filler in my lips and at the tip of my nose (was done by a plastic surgeon who suggested it’d change the appearance of my nose w/o surgery and it did and it was amazing). I do filler only once a year.
Hi everyone! Thx for your input and candidness here. After thinking about under eye fillers for the last 1-2 years, I got them on Friday afternoon. It was painless and the NP had the gentlest touch. Afterwards, my under eyes looked a little better. But not better enough to warrant the spend. I’ll try again in a few years.
Also it is not pressure. It really works as preventive, if we can afford I support very much.
