Does anybody have feedback on the work life balance at Moelis LA? I know they work very hard but would love to hear experience from people who have worked there. Don’t mind working hard but would hope to have some time to myself on weekends. Thank you!

I've joined the market at its peak (2021). I've been since postponing every non urgent purchases to use the saved fiat for buying the dips but dips keep coming..now i have a leaking roof, worn tyres, overgrown land, broken glasses & holes in my pants. High time I start mining myself

I have a friend who has been hooking up with a guy for months... she’s super attached and wants a relationship but he refuses to be exclusive. He has emotional “issues” and I think she wants to fix him. I have expressed some concern about her getting hurt (he’s already hooked up with other girls - she got upset but went back to him). I’m guessing there is nothing else I can do, right?

So while browsing new listings for apartments in NYC, I have observed the following points:

- high inventory of crappy apartments
- Brokers are still being rude and charging a broker fee on top of their rude behavior

Anyone have suggestions on how to protect minors assets? They have a couple of years left before they turn 18 and would like to help them put their inherited money to good use example: low risk investments, steady cash flow investment/rental property, etc. Anything that may also be used for their education in the future. And possibly tax strategies to decrease tax liability from when they start getting income?

Hi everyone, does anyone have recommendations for getting rid of nats in indoor house plants? I've tried the sticky traps and while that catches some, it doesn't get rid of all of them.

My initial take is she's just hard to read and probably a tightly controlled introvert. My direct report felt she's 'cold as ice,' 'bristling' at our suggestions, and forming a clique that wants to do their own thing with no input from our team. He's triggered very easily, and there was no explicit evidence, just a 'vibe' so I wrote it off. (See 1st comment)

Whats the recommended line length for bullets on the resume portion? Is 4 lines too much? Even 3 lines a bit much? ...By the time I get to stating any numerical outcomes or “why” the accomplishment is special I usually spill over to the 3rd or 4th line. I’m still able to fit resume to 1 page but worried if lots of 3-4 liners are discouraged.

Moving Tier 2->MBB, seems no brainer to me, but would that hurt my MBA admission chances at top schools? ie from being good in tier 2/big four consulting pool to being nobody in MBB applicant pool.
