1. $220k. Bonus not likely to be announced until April 2020, but will likely match NYC scale. Not expecting bonus due to lack of hours. 2. >1000 AmLaw 25 3. Corporate 4. California 5. 3rd year/ rising 4th year 6. Associate 7. Varies horribly - aim for 40 but have had 25 hr weeks due to crazy ups/downs in work flow 8. No minimum is what i was told prior to moving to this firm. But was told in my first week that 'we like our associates to be at 2050' (most peer/ comparable firms at 1900/1950). 2050 is an absolute bar to make bonus, regardless of the size of the office or flow of work - i.e., you make 2049, no bonus.

1. $165k (bonus based on hours starting at 1850. Max bonus approx. $24k for 2200 hours). 2. Around 250 3. Corp/Employee Benefits 4. Firm with 7 offices Nationwide. I am located in Alabama. 5. In 8th year out. 6. 8th year assoc. 7. 50+ Try to bill 40. 8. We technically do not have a minimum, but 1800 is minimum for bonus. Prob not considered a good candidate for partner unless you're consistently in 1950+ range.

Today I learned I am most likely more underpaid than I thought.

Took me finding out that my friend in Biglaw only billed 50 more hours in 2018 than I did but made 300% of what I did to finally move. Happier and better paid now!

Considering making a lateral move as a biglaw (Kirkland/Sidley/Cleary/Paul Weiss type firm) mid level litigation associate in a major market to a similar firm in the same market. I don’t dislike my current firm or work, have very strong reviews, and good relationships with some key partners. Main motivation for lateraling is for potential of a significant signing bonus given the current landscape, and general uncertainty about future at my current firm. Would appreciate any advice/insights.

Curious for all the VP Sales types - what is a healthy average attainment for your team? Ours is hovering around 55% to plan for Q1 and as a rep, I'm feeling discouraged since our comp plan has decelerators built in (ie. 55% to plan only gets you ~25% of your OTE commission). What are some good ways to get it through to management that raising quotas and carving out territories to add AE headcount (while reducing SDR coverage) may not solve the turnover problem they're starting to have?
