Personally I would say delay, you’ll want to make the first couple months at your new job your number one priority. I started not having them all done and it was a pain in the ass trying to juggle grasping my new career and studying for the tests and I ended up just not studying.

Anyone else annoyed with the darn holiday cards with everyone's picture perfect families? Dont get me wrong, there are some I genuinely like bc I like them. Some just feel like its rubbing it in. Or all in my head :(

Has anyone recently made the switch to in house and now feel unorganized and less productive than when billing hours? For what it is worth, I’ve received good reviews and my superiors seems to be pleased with my work. Litigation was just so task based because of needing to hit billables, so without that requirement I feel a little like a fish out of water.

I think I reached my low. I was at a family gathering and was having fun but started taking shots. Needed help into the cab. Vomited at the venue. I don’t want to get like that again. Do I need to go completely cold turkey? Set a limit?

Took LOA last year, multiple months. Recovered from burnout driven by long hours during covid. But feel like I'm now experiencing burnout in a different form. Don't feel drained but I'm just unmotivated to do anything in life and work. I don't want to eat, exercise, go places, or work. I don't want another break from work, I want to keep doing things (eg not so drained I want to take months off) but this seems like burnout and I don't know what to do.
