Do you think interns at consulting firms, MBB and Big 4, would still have a guaranteed full time offer this summer/fall?
Attending Appalachian State University for athletic reasons as I played baseball here. Will finish my degree in Supply Chain Management in December. I want to break into consulting in the supply chain and operations sector in NYC. I would love to connect with anyone in Big 4 - Deloitte , KPMG, PwC, EY and MBB to get some insight on the college recruiting cycle coming up. Currently have a 3.81 GPA, family startup company experience, and restaurant industry experience.
Is traveling ever coming back to B4 advisory?
Has anyone changed from audit to tax? I'm a senior and want to know if it's remotely possible..I had a less than a year experience in tax before starting in audit at a big 4.

Tips for transitioning from big 4 (ITS) to big law as a JD? Heard getting an LLM is pretty much the only way but not sure if I wanna do that
For those of you that left big 4 accounting to do MBA, did you leave at Senior level (3-4 YOE) or at the Manager level (5 YOE). I would assume to leave at manager level would be more ideal as when you come back to the workforce you should at the very least be ready to come in at manager or above at your next job? Thoughts?
What are the most desired consulting companies in top business schools APART from MBB and Big 4?
What are the exit opportunities for management consultants (US office based) in India (apart from other Big 4, MBB) ? What are the profiles that one could go for?
Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls
Looking at an offer from a Series E startup and trying to figure out if this is worth it. I’m at 2 years post-MBA at a Big 4 (current TC right around 200k). New TC would be right around 200k, but would be like a 25% reduction in base - I like the role and the team but I dunno if that kind of base reduction is common for consulting exits? I see a lot of TC improvements, but wondering if those folks see a base jump too? Thanks!
What’s the wlb/culture at firms outside MBB/Big 4? Been at Deloitte for a couple years and am ready for something different. Thinking OW, LEK, Kearney, or others you know of.
Has anyone here worked in Human Capital consulting at any of the Big 4? What were your exit opps like/what do your exit plans look like? How do HR depts/teams in industry view ex-HC consultants?
Anyone switch to MBB from big 4?
What are the digital tools that all the big 4 utilized? I know pwc we use tableau and alteryx. Is EY and Deloitte using the same tools?
Curious what an ACN SM (or maybe a big 4, if you want to throw them all in the same category for this one) will expect to be offered in Atlanta in a relatively hot tech field. Ballpark. Would anyone have first hand knowledge of this?

Total work experience supporting government clients: 11 years. Don’t have a degree is IMS or engineering but have pursued my PMP and CSM.

I have a negative Nancy aide in our classroom. Regardless of how many times she has been spoken to and reminded to keep the negative at bay, it seems to appear daily. Suggestions to help it totally disappear?
I'm switching jobs and considering whether I want to roll over my 401(k). I have about $220k in my plan. Considering rolling it into an existing Fidelity IRA with a balance of about $50k. Since October of 2020, I've paid about $880 in "plan administrative fees" to my 401(k) provider as well as the fund expense ratios. It looks like Fidelity does not charge administrative fees on IRA accounts, so that seems to make it a no brainer, plus the investment options are much broader. What am I missing?

Is anyone on here familiar with Activate Consulting, the TMT-focused boutique? I’d love to hear anything and everything about the firm’s reputation and culture. What is the bulk of the functional work that they do? Are they very involved in deal origination and strategic due diligence?
Hi there! I’m transferring internationally with a big 4 and have been offered a salary package of £69.5. I’ll be missing out on October 22 rem and bonus rounds. Is this a reasonable offer? I’ve tried negotiating but not much traction…
Talking to the head partner of my practice today around promotion for next year. Any suggestions on the items that I should hit on... fish Fam :)

Deloitte 🐠 Is there a difference in Salary if you work in the Monitor side of the business? Is this similar to S& at pwc? Considering a role there. Also what is typical year 1 or 2 salary for a SM? TIA
$1.5M client and new “profitability tool” showing %0 profit. Credit split 50/50 btw 20 year attorney/equity partner (JEP) and a much more senior/connected EP (SEP). Both SEP and JEP developed separate workstreams unrelated to the other. SEP‘s was terminated 3 years ago and only accounts for $200K trail off of the $1.5M. SEP’s salary is 3 times JEP’s. Profitability tool “costs” are not transparent, suspect SEP’s high salary is a factor. Anything (other than typical overhead) to ask about?
Special Education teachers and General Education teachers should work as a team together to help students mainstreaming, to be successful in the classroom.
About to have my third interview for an ACD role. It's been a while. Should I still bring hard copy resumes? Should I bring my laptop to take them through my work that we already talked through?
Hello friends, I’m an M&A consultant, mostly with experience in PMI and Carve-Out work and looking to switch to Corp Dev in industry. Is this likely and what should I focus on for interviews?
