more intriguing work. Am I too inexperienced to be considering switching? What next steps should I be taking if I decide to pursue this? Seeking advice and insight.
I did it. I don’t think you’re necessarily too inexperienced, I would just make sure that if you switch you’d want to stay there for a while to avoid having too many jumps on your resume so early in your career. Promotion is also a consideration—is this a lateral move, and if so, how will it impact your promotion timeline?

You’re not too inexperience to think about switch. You may need to give some signing bonus back if that’s a thing for you.
Two things to consider without knowing the full details:
1. Experienced associate may not mean you’ll be up for a quicker than normal promotion. Assume you’ll be at the first year of the position. Of course that’s not always the case, but I see it often where initial expectations and reality don’t always align.
2. You might be high on the pay band for your current position. Upcoming raises may be disappointing. Of course, you’ll still probably be ahead of where you were.
