Besides fever - the rest of the CV19 symptoms are normal side effects of my BP medicine.

like

I have busy season... all symptoms..

like

Your BP medicine causes a cough?

Thanks for the info. To be honest I had a 3mo check in on Tuesday and my doc was like “is your cough bothering you?” And I hadn’t noticed it. I have fairly productive post nasal drip during the night. My cough is my cough.

But if it bugs me - I’ll keep it in mind for the future.

The only sure way is to get tested.

Good luck in America with that one!!

Based on symptoms, my daughter may have had Covid-19. She tested negative for flu and strep, but didn't qualify to be tested for Covid-19. But her symptoms were exactly what's on all the Covid-19 symptom lists.

The flu b strain (I think that's what they call it) has been everywhere this year. I had it. It doesn't show up as the flu in tests but it's a type of flu. She probably had that. Other types of the flu are going around as well.

NY CPA candidates - during covid I saw that NY extended all credits to 12.31.20 but now I see that they’ve extended to 6.30.21. My cpacentral still has the 12.31.20 date for my passed section expiration. Anyone know how to fix this?

This experience is back in Ipsos and i want to validate whether it's a DE&I issue. I got married to an army personnel when i was working there and covid happened. Company made an overnight rule that people will work from base center and could not go anywhere in lockdown. Right after lockdown they forced people to come to office. I resigned, and HR said "so you will become a teacher bcz ur husband is in the army". I felt it was stereotyping and not fair bcz they didn't want to accommodate.

@Partners - How bad 2020 covid-19 down turn is going to get for consulting business?

So latest R-naught value for covid is 6.

For comparison:
Flu: 1.2
Smallpox:
SARS: 2-5
Polio (pre vaccine): 4-5
Ebola: 2
Measles: 12-18
Rubella: 7

So can somebody help me understand why wearing a mask is a partisan issue. Genuinely asking the question.

Hi There - I'm considering a role in consulting. The role is London based and as some of you may know the commute into London by train is significantly expensive (especially compared to my pre-covid commute by car). So that I can properly consider any offers I may get - can you claim expenses generally when travelling to client site, if that client site is also in London (albeit a different part of London to where your home office).

16 weeks and so worried all of the stress I’m under is going to hurt the baby. Between work, my own scary (non-pregnancy) health stuff, the pandemic, my mom (who is a widow and lives alone, basically isolated by choice due to covid) is having health issues, and pressures to keep billable hours up, I’ve been having complete breakdowns. Today I spent almost the entire day crying and now have to make up the billable time this weekend. I really worry abt what effect this will have on the babe.
