T-5 New associate. Finally getting some work. So what do I do? Go through the credentials of all the lawyers in my practice group. All cum laudes from top schools. Hell, I barely made it through my first year of law school. But I found a niche area, clerked, and made it here. Maybe I’m trying to prove to myself that I am not good enough. I don’t know.
Enthusiast
I went to a better school than many of my colleagues. Rest assured I am much less competent than they are.
Your firm wouldn't have spent the resources to hire you if they didn't think you more than capable of doing excellent work and adding value to the firm by money and reputation. Dive into being you to thrive.
Noone gives a rat a** about you academic career. A hard worker is a hard worker
In my country, the specialization master degree in your area is super important. Everyone does one and it is hard to get hired without one.
I did not do it. 4 years in, no one cares, and I am one year ahead of my peers.
Once you have enough experience, no colleague will care where you studied, only where you worked.
Same here lol international trade. But they hired for a reason and they believe in you
Mentor
You are there for a reason. Don't let imposter syndrome get you down.
Do your best. You got this.
