Capgemini I joined sometime back at D1 level , I do technical work most of time like coding, dev, testing etc.
I have worked a lot in my 14 years and still have required skills needed for the work. I don't have energy to slog any further. Moreover I get anxiety when I see junior level people doing same work as me and earning more or same.
I feel cannot sit longer hrs due to back issues and other health issues and family commitments.
Can I change to management side without risking my job .

Before you think anything, find out the location of your UK office and the house rents of that area. Does it include an in-house laundry or the wifi services, other services within the building. Then basic grocery rates of that area, then transport costs from that area to office, like bike or tram or a car, all of them. Apart from this, the insurance costs, the living taxes, the salary taxes. Based on these figures, calculate a minimum and a maximum figure of salary that would break in your living costs and then quote way higher than that in case you're interested. Based on the difference of amount that is offered, you should be able to think about it.
Oh I forgot, in case you wanna send some money home add up that too and some extra amount for any sudden expenses.
What's your preference?
It really depends on you mate. What seems more attractive to you? How does either company fit in your short-term and long terms goals? I'd start off by answering those questions and base your decison on the data.
My concern is now new. New variant . If it disrupts my travel plans i am a looser both ways. Other offer gone and onsite as well
