I was put into PIP in my first company. I believed my manager said that it's only for improvement. I signed it. Later realized it's a termination plan. So I quit the company. But after 5 years I got a call from my First company HR for another role, I was happy to take that opportunity. But later HR called me and said they couldn't proceed for some reason. I have spent my career in Talent COE (L&D, Culture, Change Management) and I am looking for HR business partner experience. I have a few Informationals lined up with HRBP hiring managers at my current org. What are good questions to ask? Any tips to demonstrate that I am ready/can transition into an HRBP role?
