How would you improve K-12 education?
EY Boston office 🐠 has anyone done a rotational program? I have done two winter internships with the assurance team and want to try switching to SaT consulting. Want to see if anyone has done it before. Did tax with PwC and didn't find it to be a good fit for me.
Would love to connect with someone!
P.S. don't have access to company bowl so posting here (some technical issue) and this is a duplicate post coz I messed up posting earlier 💀😅

If you seriously think that, PwC 2, you are small minded.
Leave it to pwc for a rude remark
I'm actually about to take 2 months off myself to knock it out. Good luck to you!
It's not PwC, that guy is just a dick. 😂
Hey now, I am PwC and wasn't rude to OP.
How did you approach it when asking management for permission? Thanks in advance
My coach is one that has pushed the CPA with me from the beginning. I've tried for a long time while working but wasn't passing. Everyone who works with me knows I'm a workaholic. So when I suggested it, she immediately knew it was the best solution to get me to pass and she helped me set it up. Not having CPA will hold me back soon so I need it.
Doing it now.
My senior did it. She took the whole month of November and January off. If you have a coach/counselor I would recommend talking to them about it first.
I also brought it up in Nov/Dec knowing the best time to do it for my schedule was summer. So we had time to put together a plan for the clients I would be missing. I also prepared a plan/timeline to show how I was going to do it.
If you take a leave of absence to complete your CPA, you're unintelligent (I took all four parts in 2 testing windows and passed while working). You just demonstrated that you can't meet goals and are no longer trusted. If you take a leave absence for this and expect to have your benefits paid while you're gone, think again.
Wow!! @PwC 2 are u real? I know people at my firm who have taken 6 months to take the CPA exam.
You must be an auditor. I found its harder for auditors to work and study the same time.
Thanks for the helpful advice PwC 2! 😂
@EY 2 - 😂😂😂😂😂 #fact
Does EY offer this??
I did it two years ago. I was a senior so I just didn't have time to study while working. Definitely don't regret it.
Done twice. Just ask your team.
Yes. And if it's < 12 months benefits remain intact
