Taking my boyfriend on a trip for his 40th the week after thanksgiving, ideally somewhere tropical. I’d like a similar vibe to Tulum, not looking to do a huge all inclusive, no budget. Any suggestions?

Nice no budget. Just go to the Maldives/Cabo/Bali/Philippines (Palawan)

like

Yes!! Palawan, Philippines! I have been to El Nido and it was literally a paradise!

No budget? Maybe you should do something around the neighborhood or a road trip. Hard to fly away vacation without a budget. Unless you have frequent traveling miles you can cash in.

I am a travel agent and can look into some travel packages for you if you’d like!

Not sure what would be comparable to Tulum because I'm not familiar with that destination, but I've snagged some ridiculous deals on Travelzoo so maybe they have something you'd be interested in.

Croatia (island hopping), Costa Rica, thailand, Bali, Maldives, Belize, Virgin Islands,

A little different than tulum - Malta. Azores, Nice, Cadiz, Algarve … so many options

Tabacon resort in Costa Rica. Or maybe Algarve

I did not, but it’s been a few years and I relied on friendly locals and hotel staff to drop me off places. Not sure if Uber is there. Resort is not all inclusive but has that feel where you hang there a lot, and the town around it is quite small. Booked tours into the rain forest would likely pick you up. Maybe a car if you want stops on the way from the airport, or to drive to the beach?

If you like beaches, definitely visit Asia. Have you heard about Boracay? You won't regret going there, I promise!

Hi! Bali, Indonesia is also a beautiful tropical country. Lots of beaches and affordable resorts. Give it a try!

Oaxaca, Zipolite.

Hi! How about any South East Asian countries? Philippines, Bali, or Thailand.

Hello Fishes,

I have got my L2 Dependent Visa stamped for the US through the Wife's organization and she has booked the tickets for the both of us in the next weekend. I am currently unallocated in TCS and seeking projects in the same US location as my Wife. Can I travel to the US just like that and then continue my search within TCS from there or do I need any approvals to even fly in the first place?

I am worried because of the time crunch and will be glad to hear some points on this.
