Seems low. Mid-level PM roles pay in that range.
SM could be equivalent to mid-level PM role - at a bunch of companies SM is below Director whereas Director is comparable to experienced M or new SM in Big 4. Sounds like there may be a mismatch between this role title and your overall experience / YOE.
Depends where in the Midwest.
Then yeah seems on the low side.
