I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

Not just the Dutch. Literally EVERY country in Europe and Asia. Singapore, China, Taiwan, Korea, HK etc were all hard hit but they are all back to normal now - the US is the only country fucking everything up.
Americans want their ‘freedom’ we are very selfish and want what’s best for us, even to the detriment of others around us
Agree. It’s infuriating.
Netherlands here, if you watch anti covid measure protests here, you'll see the same boorish idiots. And when the lockdowns were announced the past two years, more public violence than the US has seen regarding this issue. However, it's a smaller and more concentrated group.
In my opinion the main difference is that in the US one of the two major political parties has sort of adopted the beliefs of these people, as well as certain mainstream media. And just as everything in the US it is immediately politicized, with left and right always disagreeing on everything, to an absurd extent.
This political/media support emboldens these people and gives them a sort of legitimacy, and combined with the polarized politics grows them as a group as well. Because apparently if you're a conservative, these days that means you should be anti covid measures.
