I applied to a product manager position at BCG last weekend. I don’t believe it’s in a client services capacity. When should I expect to hear back for internal roles?
Senior promotion indirect tax. 2 years as staff. 4 rating. What should I expect? Wisconsin here
Just transitioned from consulting to big Tech. I start my new role in a Biz Ops group in a few weeks. Any tips for newbies?
With this, I would like to take a moment and thank our ex-Deloitte colleagues for leaving the firm in hoardes. Without your contribution, it would have been impossible to get such hhuuuge hikes and bonuses. #Respect
How do I get my fiancé excited about wedding planning? He thinks I am too bossy when it comes to planning but I just want to get things done and out of the way. I am a huge planner and do not like to procrastinate so I push to get things checked off to the lis.
Hey Ladies- Do any of you in here have a side hustle? If so, would love to hear what type of business you're in and how you manage the side hustle with your full-time day job.
I’m a little lost. I always saw myself as an attorney but after three years I am realizing that this is not what I want to be doing down the road. Anyone have any ideas of what fields/jobs an attorney’s skills would translate to and would also pay half way decent? I hear attorneys are in demand in other industries but to be honest I’m not seeing it. Maybe I’m going about it wrong but please let me know if you found a new job in a new field you love or if you know anyone else who did.
I have an offer from EY as a senior manager but the offer seems low at $130k. Is that really what they’re paying you guys? I’m on the east coast? What should I be targeting?
Anyone transition from corporate to FBI/DEA/USMS? Corporate is not as sexy as I thought it’d be.
Do you have and/or use more technical skills or languagws in your day to day? SQL, R, Python, etc.
I’m a jr litigation associate with many years of tech work pre law school. A former coworker has offered to submit my resume for a legal role at her company (also tech) basically doing contract and privacy work as well as other tasks relevant to my former work life. My current resume is full of litigation experience from law school, since my resume is written for applying to lit positions. On the one hand, it bolsters my legal experience. On the other, it’s not relevant to this role. Do I cut?
The health insurance of vois is not good. For employee 2 lakh with 10% copay and for others 1 lakh with 20% copay. Is there anything, where i can raise the coverage with no copay? Also, the variable and bonus is same? Or bonus is over and above CTC?
I get the sentiment of this post, but this absolutely does not apply to anyone that isn’t an URM or has a unique work/life experience. No way I’m getting in with a 3.3 gpa and a 660 gmat (I was rejected with 3.5 years at BCG, 760 gmat, and 3.7 gpa in an engineering major)
