I am working on industry tech company and have offer to join big 4 with 80% base hike. I don't want to travel away from family and looks like travel is expected in consulting. What should I do, thoughts?

I interviewed for a position at Microsoft recently and I'm a bit confused by the experience. The recruiter wanted to know my exact salary at my current company...He said hiring managers will not even look at my resume until I share my numbers. I declined to share my current comp and he said if I wanted to move forward I have to share that info.

Do I have to disclose this? And is there a way for them to verify it if I say a higher number?

Have you ever been passed on for a role by someone who is less qualified and has done less than you in terms of side projects related to the new role ? How are the Lead categories defined post the LEAD assessment? I have got like a 9 o clock rating (Considering the LEAD feedback parameter circle witb 12 o clock being gold standard) in most of my measures.
