I am in a confusion,
I work for tcs and for retention, tcs is offering Canada onsite and they need 4 to 5 months to process the visa
I have 2 offers in hand one is CTS (16.3+ 70000) and HCL (19+3)
Hcl is pakka support project (operations) no chance of development. I am having 10 YOE and completely in development.
CTS not sure about project.
Fishes, can you please help me understand which is a better option that I have.
I would suggest go with TCS provided onsite is guaranteed. Else demand minimum 20LPA from cts and move.
Keep hunting for more offers, try for a better pay in india
Considering the current market scenario, you can get 25-40 lpa at this YOE
Onsite is surely a TRAP
P.S. My canada visa was initiated twice, i never got a chance to travel. Moreover, if you are being offered a support project in HCL then it’s a good thing, you will get more time to upskill yourself, keep learning new things within your technology, keep practicing leetcode questions etc

As the other guy said, you can get more than 25LPA with your experience. I have 6 years of experience and I got 20 fix plus 2 variable 1.5 month before my notice period ends. There is a product based company 'HighRadious' try contacting them. They will give you up to 30LPA for your experience. If TCS is offering immidiate onsite, (yeah that process takes 4-5 months) ask them to give at least C3 level of position. Also take those things in written on TCS email that if you revoke your resignation, they will give immidiate Canada onsite for at least 2 years. Canada onsite is very good offer. Canada is the only place where you can get your PR very easily. Manager and HR may try to convence you in negative way. Dont listen to them. you are worthy and you deserve it. Prepair well and get a better offer either from TCS or outside.

Go for cts … heard they have good Dev projects compared to TCS..pls don’t believe any on-site opportunity that has suddenly come up after putting in your papers
Don't go for onsite trap. They'll raise your Visa and once you take back papers they'll stop the process mid way or will keep holding you for months and months.
Considering ur exxp, u could easily get anything bw 26-30L.dont hesitate in asking money or when expected CTC is asked. Current CTC is one of the factor in deciding ur future CTC not only.
Onsite is a trap. They always say onsite to resigned associates.
