Hey guys I also got laid off at D. 1 year experience as a BTA>S&A>CCG. Would anybody mind helping a mate out with any referrals? Would love to discuss over DM. Appreciate your help, thank you so much!
Which of these two can get a job quicker? A. The one who resigned and currently unemployed B. The one who got fired
Once laid off by a specific employer, do people ever go back to work for that same employer? For example, all the people laid off from Deloitte, will they ever work for Deloitte again in the future? Assuming there were performance issues.
My coworker, a senior copywriter, was just laid off. They've got tons of experience. I've seen them churn out 5 individual scripts in an hour. Any leads I can throw their way?
Are we headed towards a recession? PwC seems to be cutting costs and I've been hearing of layoffs at the other Big Four.
Why does PwC's severance package suck so much? I've never been through something like this previously, no I guess I have nothing to compare it to, but everyone who has keeps telling it's insulting. SA
Former KPMG fish, when you got severance, was it lump sum or paid out like your normal paycheck?
Got laid off - need legal advice on release agreement / severance document. Do y’all have any free legal resources or an org / law firm that I can contact to seek advice? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
If you got fired, would you care?
Got laid off but found a job. Unfortunately I can’t start for like 2 months. Any ideas on jobs I could do in the meantime? Can’t drive so no Uber. Willing to do minimum wage, anything will help
For all fellow fishbowlers that were laid off, should we create some group to help each other out and use our networks to help out?
Does staying at a job too long make you less marketable? A CFO who worked at a company for over a decade and was fired because of cut backs was hired for temp work. An accounting manager of 6 years was hired for tech support. How does this happen?
Would you ever hire someone after they were fired for an ethical lapse (not illegal - violation of the COC)?
Small town teachers....how do you get past the insulation? I can’t talk to anyone in my district about issues I’m having with admin because it’s a small town & they cover each other and gaslight you. The school district only cares about their PR and has vague policies that keep us from saying against them, yet we can’t say anything TO them either. My union rep is trying to help but she also said that it’s all too common for small towns. They always win & you just have to suck it up or get fired.
Do you ever wish you get fired?
Thinking about advertising publicly on LinkedIn that I’m looking for a new job. What are the chances I would be fired?
If you were looking to exit Big 4 Consulting, what positions would you be targeting? I have done a little of everything with no specialization (great performance reviews across the board). But now a little unsure of what my skills really are from an employer POV.
Anyone use loans for renovation on a flip before? I’m looking for about $20K to work with and am debating taking it from my 401K vs loans
Hi, I'm currently with TCS. I have given technical interview with Infosys on 9th October and the very next day I got a mail to send documents. Since then I didn't receive any reply from them. How long does the process really take for one to get a call for HR discussion. It's been almost 10 days now. Similar situation happened with Accenture recently, they put me on hold for long and suddenly turned down the offer after HR discussion for which I'm really concerned now.
New consultant here - when people talk about Strategy & Operations, what exactly is the operations side and what do they do? Coming from the perspective of the B4 firms having the more prestigious S&O group, but also having a separate supply chain/operations group? What’s the difference between the two ops groups?
I’ve been seeing that VP-level comp is very hard to reach. Where do most end up after a few years if not in PE?
Anyone know compensation progression at Google S&O? Assume joining after 2 years consulting post undergrad.
Hi, I’m interviewing for a S&O manager role at DD. Would love to see if anyone can offer insights on the case study and tips for the onsite. Thinking about forming a small group to do one or two discussions or prep sessions (over Zoom?) within the next few days to get ready. Already connected with one other candidate to get this started. Feel free to comment or DM me.
Hi Fishes Capgemini is looking for 4-15 years experienced candidates who can join immediately for below positions. If interested in referral, please let me know.

What are the best consulting firms to work for in Chicago right out of undergrad based on salary and perks?
Arriving in Boston Logan Airport from overseas. How far is Delta to re-check bags in after clearing customs/immigration?
Voucher codes for United Center?
Staying at an established middle market firm where realistic partner track is about 10 -12 years vs moving to big4 or MBB. Pros & cons of both?
So I just got the most fantastic news and I'm not allowed to tell anyone yet. But I'm about to BURST, soooooo... I turn to my anonymous social media outlet. Lol. My brother and his wife called me today to tell me they're going to have their first baby!!! I can't begin to express what a HUGE deal this is for them and for my family, and the long, difficult road they have been down to get here. I cannot wait to be an aunt!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Which companies are sponsoring H1-b apart of Faang and big4/MBB consulting? Looking for something with good wlb and pay.
On the bench for the first time in a while. So happy I'm not waking up at 4:40 a.m. Good luck to the rest of you flying out tomorrow! I'm going to sit naked in my bed and build a few decks.
