Bears also know this now…
A silly question. I have been thinking of investing money in the US stock market via INDMoney since a long time but I am not sure about how much amount should I transfer initially since there are high withdrawal charges as well. Can anybody shed some light on it? Amazon Facebook (Meta) Microsoft IBM Nvidia Google

First year HL FDD analyst pay in NYC?
TTM > LTM
FYI, Val is under tax at KPMG. Reason being that Val has a lot of tax considerations when building models. For example, we take into account R&D tax credit, tax reform when it was first implemented, tax amortization benefit, etc. I was a valuation manager at KPMG years ago and I'm pretty sure it is still the same today. So with that, I'd say you have the most justification trying to make the switch across firms. However, unless you have specific valuation experience, you will most likely get associate position rather than retain your senior title.
Got offers for both. FDD internal switch was super easy, got vals at A&M bc I knew someone there from college but I’ve done financial modeling courses so I knew what I was doing
Everything you need can be found/bought on wso. I just fluffed up my resume tbh, highlighted soft skills and networked my way to an interview

Haven’t done it but what level are you? The earlier you can make a jump out of tax the easier it is
Currently a senior. Definitely wish I had thought about this earlier in my career.
For FDD - CPA and a meaningful referral from someone you actually know. This will get you an interview and from there it’s up to you. Make the jump as soon as possible so you don’t have to take a step back in rank.
It helps to have someone on the team refer you. Preferably someone who has been there for at least a year or someone who has a good rep within the group. Other important things are the school you went to and GPA (believe it or not), the firm you are coming from and what tax group you’re in. Someone who does strictly tax compliance that churns through returns all year may not be as appealing. Put as much non-compliance type skills on your resume (consulting, decks, modeling, creating efficiencies).
Tax DD versus FDD...which pays more for same level/titles?
