Quick California civil procedure question - is a defendant required to file a cmc statement even though it has not yet filed a responsive pleading to the complaint? Plaintiff delayed in serving the complaint but the court set a cmc date at the time the complaint was filed. Now the cmc is scheduled for a week after our answer is due, as a result of the delayed service. What are the requirements for the cmc statement? Do we even need to file?Cant seem to find anything on this in the rules. Thanks!

I'm a Java developer building products in networking domain. I'm strong in converting requirements into design and building products from scratch. I'm spending 12 hours everyday at work, unable to spend any time on brushing up algorithms.
I'm not happy with the money that I make for the efforts that I'm putting in, want to switch to good product company. I wish I get more time to learn and prepare for interview. Just putting my thoughts here.

Guys I need help. I'm from Orchard learning and completed it in July. After that I've been on bench since July . I was trained on Cloud and DevOps technologies. I've interest in Web development and having hands on HTML CSS Bootstrap JS and ReactJs.
Question is should I be in Mindtree till my next promotion to C2 or should I switch after completion of 1 year in Mindtree? What hike can I expect for Web developer after switching.
I'm having total 14 months experience including Mindtree.

Having 2.9 YOE
Current CTC is around 4 Lakhs
Holding an offer from TCS of 7.5 Lakhs

5th September is my last working day at Infosys. Yoe=4+ yrs
Tech= aws devops
I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

Should i join KPMG?

Have got two offers. One from tcs and another from product based company. Both are offering the same 19L as fixed. I have accepted both the offers. I still have 1.5 months of notice period left. I have decided to join the prod based company. Wanted to know how to do a counter? And when is the right time to ask them? How much can i ask them to increase?
