Assistant Producer salaries in NYC? What if you’ve got a few years of somewhat transferable experience in a different dept? Room to ask for more?
~intellectual~ event suggestions? 27M here curious if anyone has good suggestions for upcoming events related to history, philosophy, literature or other nerdy intellectual stuff. Could be fun to get a group together for something like that. Alternatively if you want to meet tonight for a beer and talk about any of these things I’m all ears
Here’s a weird question. I need to send my timesheet and invoice for approval to HR and writer who’s supervising me. I know I’m making way more than he does and it’s kinda uncomfortable. Usually, I only send the time sheet then invoice to HR. Am I crazy?
What are you known for as a teacher? I'm known for making playlists and introducing my students to new music.

Hi! Is anyone down to case? I have MBB interviews coming up soon and want to get some practice in. I’ve interned at MBB and Tier 2 before so I have fairly decent experience with casing. Thanks!
I have been in sales even before college. I'm reaching a burn out. I feel like the expectations get higher the more work I put in and that ends with me putting on many hats to get done. I can't catch a break, let alone allowed a decent vacation without having to negotiate based on performance. I honestly don't want to be in sales forever. I'm versatile when it comes to any tasks due to the nature of wearing many hats. Any suggestions?
I am interviewing for in-house positions where I would be expected to give advice, yet these companies do not seem to have either Westlaw or Lexis. One company told me that it relies on “Google Law.” Is this normal/common? How can I be expected to give competent advice regarding the current state of the law in a jurisdiction where I have never practiced (but where the company maintains an office) if I can’t research the law using up to date tools such as Lexis or Westlaw?
Hi, looking to move to Charlotte after living from Jersey. Considering Ballantyne. Looking for a diverse neighborhood with a healthy Indian population and good schools for my 6 year old. Any pointers ?
I left consulting for industry and find it’s even less structured, so i often end up proactively doing old things i used to do for consulting like making decks. Only difference really is the pay and hours are much better, and people are more positive. Everyone tends to like the work i do. Anyone else experience something like this?
Dreading tomorrow 🥺
Do MBB partners have pensions? If so how much and at what tenure/age? Had no idea that was a thing...
