Does BCW not allow conservatives to be employed at this company? I’m sitting through another meeting where we are highlighting amazing women and it is so politicized I am completely offended. AOC, Biden, Ilhan, Hilary... I mean at try to be inclusive when speaking of diversity. You can’t name a single female in the Conservative party throughout history?

Is anyone else depressed by the ORM/URM world we live in? Would you be supportive of a demographic-blind admissions process, especially given the multitude of interesting backgrounds and successful experiences regardless of gender / racial / other identity?

Are you concerned that when we only push “have it all” messaging to women we’re just adding to women’s career stress while reinforcing existing gender norms around home and childcare responsibilities?

Hi, we just launched Diversity and inclusion committee at our work place and one of our many initiatives is to share some reminders /notifications about safety and inclusion in common employee platforms/portals e.g There’s no place or time when discrimination is acceptable. Please feel free to report to HR if you com across any discriminatory behavior. Anyone has any more similar ideas what other topics we can add?

The ad industry is legendarily homogenous. Won’t unionizing simply close ranks & protect existing white professionals, who then protect other professionals just like them, resulting in LESS diversity?

I did an analysis of the racial diversity among the ranks in our practice (150+ staff). 39% of the total staff are Caucasian, but they make up 88% of the partners/MDs (basically only 2 partners/MDs are POC). This city has a lot to offer in literally everything. With such diversity in all things (people, food, sports, events, schools, arts, etc) and magnitude (population size and density), one should expect complexities that come with the territory. Illness, rent, subway, etc. Empathize with the current situation but don’t be blinded by the media’s reporting frenzy that profits off of your clicks. If you can’t deal, then don’t. But no need to project your superiority over a city’s pain.

Do hikes get tougher when you cross a certain threshold. I have about 8 years ba experience in capital markets with a investment banking captive and draw 22Lakhs fixed +3-4 Lakhs variable. Getting a lot of calls but very few employers are willing to go above 30 Lakh range. With taxes the Inhand does not change that much. Has anyone experienced this
