Hi all! Anyone have a good closed captioning service that adds captions in Spanish with a Spanish VO? We have two videos, one in English and one in Spanish, and they both need captions. I have the scripts but don’t feel comfortable and we want to make sure it is correct. Side note: We were going to use Rev but they don’t do captions in Spanish and one of their sales people just sent me a very snarky email.

Something that severely gets into my nerves :

I advise clients on tech and sometimes help them debug stuff. This client told me they tested the solutions I gave and that it didn’t work, and requested a meeting to sort it off. We schedule a meeting. I just inspected their account and they haven’t tested shit, I can see the same code mistakes, they never tried to change anything.

I’m pissed. They’re basically wasting my time and I don’t even see the point in meeting with them.

Has anyone taken part in sperm sorting at their clinics to give a better chance of choosing X or Y sperm in IVF? My clinic has a study where it can skew girl 60/40% but the working hypothesis is that the abnormal Y sperm will fall down with the heavier X sperm, so there might also be a higher chance of aneuploidy. Is it true that in general you work just as much at a startup? Only have a couple of frds in the startup scene and they all work 50-60hrs

Have an offer at EY as a SC2 for 140k base and 5k sign on in their commercial practice.
Currently a SC2 (about to be SC3 and begin promo year in January) at Deloitte in GPS making 110k base, but getting a market adjustment next week. The EY job seems "meh" as far as the actual work and currently have great WLB/easy life with good metrics and clear upward mobility. Thoughts on the offer and if I should switch?

Concern on going to another FAANG is getting de-leveled/starting over. L5 is nebulous middle management, and it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle.
