Our dress code is extremely casual and no, they are not strict about hair color, tattoos or makeup.
Ohh that’s a relief- thank you.
In the past I've worn long dress pants that slightly flare at the bottom with boots (I am always cold) and a nice blouse tucked in with a belt. Sometimes I've worn a suit jacket but most women just wear cardigans. Seriously though, ask your recruiter or HR rep or your boss. It's possible they allow jeans nowadays after covid and you might be the only one not wearing jeans if you assume you have to dress up. I might avoid wearing a dress on the first day if you're afraid of looking overdressed
I always wear some makeup because my face looks boring without it and I notice most women over 30 wear a little makeup. I would say make sure your hair is neat and completely up to you if you want to wear makeup or do nails.
I really appreciate this comment too. I work in tech CSM and my customers are multinational banks, and feel the same confusion about level of dress. And, I'm often the only woman in the room! This is good guidance, and feels safe, looking professional but not like you're heading off to a cocktail party.

I’d start a notch higher with flare. Looking professional and hip never hurts. Women are judged as more competent when they have a little style/flare based on old makeup and hair studies.
You can rent to manage costs.
I’ve been at Square and another fintech startup. Same dress code as the rest of tech. Casual. But a bank might be different
Why are they making you go in?
It’s going to be “hybrid” apparently… whatever they decide that means
Business casual when in office. We are still in WFH mode - though the offices are open for those who wish to work there.
When WFH, t shirts and hoodies and polo shirts are common. I would not wear tank tops with spaghetti straps - that’s a little too casual.
No rules regarding makeup/hair dye/tattoos. Encouraged to bring your whole self to work.
At a bank, it would be business and not business casual. Sartorial signaling for “getting the job you want and not the job you have” worked for me.
