I have recently been laid off with my current company as company is closing its operation and looking for new role. Is severance negotiable or is there some type of policy that dictates how much a company can pay out (eg maxes out at two months salary). A friend was just a casualty of a RIF.

There is no way you qualify for food stamps when the annual imcome of a household of 2 is over 6 figures right? My SO who was recently laid off thinks he can get unemployement benefits as well as food stamps when I still make 6 figures 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I have received an offer from Wissen for the client Morgan Stanley at Mumbai.. I was recently laid off from Publicis Sapient.... There is news that Morgan Stanley is planning to lay off people in the coming weeks. Is it good to consider this offer? Are there any layoffs going at wissen?

The severance package at Meta for laid off employees almost makes it nice to be laid off depending on what your personal situation is….. personally wouldn’t mind getting 4+ months of full pay to reset and think about what’s next 😬

Tips for just getting started, with the day especially, or even just a bad task later on after a few productive hours? I have an offer from EY. They rejected my counter offer for a higher salary but accepted my counteroffer for a higher sign on bonus. They gave me a few more days to think about the new offer.
