Tech sales, enterprise level, acc manager roles... how many rounds of interviews? Could a company
be playing delay tactics due to insufficient applicants in summer period if interviews are now a week or so out in last stages?

Has anyone had good matches/success when using a Recruiting Agency? I’m debating if I should use one on my current job hunt got myself.

In the past, when I was used a couple of a agencies for our hiring, it was a pretty rough experience. Mostly there was a big disconnect between what we told the recruiters we were looking for (in writing, in person & over the phone) & what the job was, and what the recruiters told the candidates. It was really frustrating on both ends.

Any hiring managers or senior managers from the Big4 (or any other firm with a forensic department that handles investigations or claims services like EY’s I&C or IFCS) that would be open to reviewing my resume and providing any suggestions before I start submitting applications? I have a government and IT background which will allow me to hit the ground running in any new role.

Is it normal for Google recruiters to not send a meeting invite confirming the date/time of the phone screen? Got an email confirmation but no subsequent calendar invite. Should I send it myself?

Had my interview on 12th Feb evening. The same day late night I got an email asking to upload the Application form( Completed the same on 13th Feb). Can I understand only HR discussion pending for me? If yes how much time will it take for me to get the HR call.

Anybody else feel unworthy of this career? When it comes to stack rankings I’m generally in the top 50% of reps at companies I’ve worked for. On good years I’ll get into top 20%.

It seems every sales job posting is looking for people who have blown out their number every single year. I just don’t see how this is even possible, I’ve worked plenty of places where they gave us an unachievable target so nobody hit their number in a given year.

I keep hiring sales people who are super enthusiastic and overpromising on what they deliver. I put them through a trial month (no base + commission only) and they do not close a single deal, Even though the commission structure is amazing and I’m incentivizing them through the roof. We experienced sales people are asking for a base and commission but I’m scared that I’ll end up having a base and the same thing will end up happening. What am I doing wrong?
