Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.
How's the wlb here?

What happened at MoFo London M&A
The day to day is that you have a list of to-dos for your active financing deals, while you get random requests related to equity or employment matters and the related board/stockholder consents. Weekends are protected if you’re not behind on work (which lately has been very difficult to achieve).
The difference between other practices is direct client communication and doing more substantive work earlier on as a junior because we’re cheaper. Another difference is that most of the work takes an hour or less so it’s not atypical to bill to 10+ clients a day. The constant task switching and not billing 0.1 or 0.2 for requests like “can you send me our up to date cap table” eats up a bunch of time.
In my opinion, ECVC is much more rewarding compared to other practices but sometimes it feels like my head is spinning from all the different tasks/requests I get on a busy day.
Getting the hours in isn’t too tough if you have the ability to focus for longer periods of time. I just have a hard time working 8 hours straight with only short breaks so I’m trying to improve. I’m sure others are better at it than I am.
