Park and ride the shuttle, way more convenient than trying to get there early to park. Also too depending on where you park, you may be sitting a while anyways waiting to get out of the lot

likeuplifting

I like Hollywood and Highland, better if you take the subway and then jump on the shuttle there. Also park there because I'm weird and prefer to pay for a nice covered, monitored structure.

If you live close enough, it’s worth an Uber and then getting dropped off at on the corner of Highland and Franklin and walk up to the Bowl. Not a bad trek at all!

Thanks all!! Had luck finding a free meter near Hollywood and Highland. I wanna try the shuttle at some point. Appreciate your advice!

I feel like there are talks of a “California Exodus” that happens every 10 years.

But with the pandemic, people’s loss of faith in CA politics, transplants moving back home, and people opting to move either to more suburban cities or out of state for cheaper housing options because they’ll be WFH permanently, do you guys think that this time around, a “California Exodus” actually has legs?

As a native Angeleno, I’m interested to see how much the city will change after this pandemic.

Hello all! So I’m currently a Realtor in LA. Prior to being a Realtor, I was a store manager for a luxury store in Beverly Hills. I was kind of forced to get out of retail when the pandemic hit so my only option at the time was to jump in to real estate as I already had my license. I’ve been feeling unfulfilled with real estate and truly miss luxury retail. Does anyone have any referrals for luxury retail jobs in Los Angeles? I would love to hear from you! Thank you for taking reading my post!

hey fishes! my fiance and i are gonna be making the move out to LA and would love some advice on neighborhoods and housing, as two people who don't know much of anything about LA.

- my new office is in the west adams neighborhood, so ideally we'd want to be within a half hour drive from there.
- we're looking to rent a house or bungalow if we can, our budget maxes out at about $3500/mo. is that feasible?

- also what neighborhoods around there are cool and/or quiet?

thanks!

Hi! I’m moving to LA from Chicago, base 90k - no debt. I live in a 1BD rn and have been browsing the market in LA to get an idea of rent. I’m mainly looking west of DTLA (ktown, la brea, pico rob, etc)it’s seeming like a 1BD may be out of reach. I’m not looking to pay more than $1800/mo. Any suggestions on neighborhoods I should consider? I’d like to be near grocery, restaurants, and would need parking. I enjoy being outdoors and would look to go on hikes/runs in my free time if that helps. TIA!
