How badly do you think you need to fuck up for a client to ask for you to be rolled off a project?

The great resignation isn’t just for younger GenX and Y anymore. Liberating feeling to tell the firm that you are leaving, not later but now…wanna treat folks like paper plate pawns? …then figure it out tomorrow in front of your client while I day drink to my pay raise and a firm that worked hard to accommodate my requests. P.S. your client still loves me anyway.

I am working today. A partner I work with asked for docs this week to send out to the client and a few more documents ready to send out today. I sent them all to him but he didn’t send out or review any of them. Just said thank you and no happy holidays or anything. How much understanding do I need to extend? I am getting really annoyed with him. Not the first time of asking and not reviewing till later turning into a fire drill.

Any tips on presentation anxiety? Almost a decade into my career and I still go full panic before and during every weekly client conversation. I thought by now I would be over this but instead it just keeps getting worse. So embarrassing. I fear that if I don't tackle this, I will never be able to move forward in my career.

At a previous company... we were contractually obligated to have deployed (and provided 24x7 monitoring of) an AT&T Cybersecurity product suite for a managed network client, but we never deployed the solution. They paid us for the 24x7 monitoring and the software for MONTHS. When they realized it, we owed them almost $27k.

S2 about to be a S3 in a high COL city making 84k in FDD (top 10 firm) without CPA. Raises are being communicated this week... is it reasonable to counter offer if my raise is not where I want it to be and how could I approach this topic respectfully?
