^while i agree that PhD is probably a designation that is ok, i observe similar things. I have known many profs and doctoral graduates, and the ones that are diligent about putting PhD everywhere and correcting people "its actually DOCTOR Smith..." are the ones who want instant credibility without actually trying to earn it without it. The truly secure ones, and typically more accomplished in their fields, are more likely to not even mention their PhD backgrounds and the ones that insist that they be called by their first name, like everyone else.

Hi Fishes,

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.
Thanks

I had my PHR back in early 2000, then made a career change to a paramedic (I know, right). I called SHRM and they said I'm eligible to test again even though I only currently have 1.5 yrs of HR.

I purchased the online study guide and it seems that HR has gone in a completely different direction - more operations related than employee relations etc.

Did anyone find this online training to be helpful? I test in July, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - lauren

Hello people,

Need some inputs!

When I file my ITR, it is auto-populating the 'income from other sources' by 40k and increasing my tax liability by 10k however form 26as shows no tax liability.

Should I edit the header to Rs. Xx which is below 10k hence tax exempted and stick to info as per 26AS?

Thanks a lot!
