Some people are saying you burn extra calories during that time so you need the extra food (is this true/a worthwhile amount?), some say eat at maintenance just to get through it mentally, and some are saying stick with a deficit. I am Taiwanese-American (woo!) and a first generation American. I can't stop crying. I don't know if it's because of hormones (period coming in a couple days) or just because I feel like I'm such a failure.
