I am selected company and got 1st offer in hand. I feel company selected good candidates like me for same position but they offered me it means I expected less salary compare to other peers.

“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? I have an offer from Japan as C2H, but the onboarding date will be Sept 15 due to 5-6 weeks for the visa process.

15th was my LWD. So, should I join a company that allows full wfh and quit the company after 2 months to join the Japan opportunity?

I made the switch from marketing to PR this year. I basically went from having 15 years of experience to being a newbie in a different subject matter. I miss creative development for ads/web/video, having more tactics to integrate into strategies, and the leadership opportunities I had managing junior team members. I don’t miss 50+ work weeks and measuring success from my stress level. I like my team, but I feel underutilized. Should I sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride for a few years?

Brand Strategy/Planning roles aren't typical in PR. So every new Account hire arrives with no experience working with a Strategist. I'm tired of explaining/showing my role adds necessary value. I love strategy, but I have an offer at another agency to move into Account as Group SVP. They want to "customize" the role for my experience, but I'm afraid it will just be on paper and people will expect me to know things I just won't. I can't afford to be fired. Thoughts? Any advice for getting started with / pursuing clients for PR freelancing as a side gig? I’m at an agency doing beauty PR full-time, but have been consulting on the side with small clients for a few years as opportunities arise. The extra cash has been nice and I’m finding myself wanting to ramp up freelance work until I can make a cushier salary (I’m currently AS level).
