Off the top of my head, it seems like the death rate would decrease because young people are infected now

In addition, can we stop worshipping politicians please? It's part of the reason America is so polarized now

Thanks guy who is still not wearing a mask and is advocating we force children back into schools at risk of their funding being pulled!

The use of these graphs with inconsistent vertical axis scales is insane to me. Edit: and the metrics. I thought we had determined per capita values and mortality rates are more insightful than gross deaths? I understand that it's supposed to be a trend, but the less than perfect use of data visuals is a pet peeve of mine. Don't think it would change the overall message of what you're trying to say. Just felt like nit-picking I suppose.

It’s not nit picking. As a fellow person who also actually understands data, this chart is ridiculously useless and the person publishing it should get fired.

Blame Ducey, Abbot, and DeSantis

No.

That little guy? Don’t worry about that little guy.

You’re comparing the death rates of the entire country vs 3 states 😂

I’m not exactly surprised you can’t read a graph correctly, but I am disappointed. The death rate was higher on the 7th than the previous weeks.

Houston = protests Miami = protests Phoenix = protests Break out country data and you’ll quickly realize the cases exist in blue parts of the states.

You do know they contract trace the infections, right? They found they’ve been coming from bars/restaurants/parties. Stop trying to post polarizing points 🤦‍♂️ there protests across blue and red states Tell me - why hasn’t NYC seen a spike? Or Atlanta? Or MN similar to the magnitude of TX, Miami or Phoenix?

Quick question from a semi new attorney: filed a case against an insurance company and a third party, one of the claims is a federal claim. There’s no complete diversity, so defense counsel moved to remove the case to federal court based on federal question jurisdiction. If the federal issue gets dismissed later on, SMJ is gone and we have to move the case back to state court. Does this sound correct to the rest of you?

What's the norm for consulting firms during a shutdown? Do people on non funded projects usually get furloughed or kept on? Asking because I've been at a bigger firm that kept everyone on during the last shutdown, but I'm at a much smaller company now that is going to furlough on a project by project basis (if your project is shutdown, you get furloughed). Just curious if this is commonplace among smaller firms/what the norm is for bigger ones as well? What's been your experience?
