Honest question. How is A&M’s transaction/capital markets advisory business model competitive from a client perspective? For example, if I was a CFO considering an IPO, the main reason for going to a non-Big 4 for the IPO readiness work would be to save on fees. If word got out that the rates I was quoted were to fund the team’s 6 figure bonuses, you better believe I’d put more pricing pressure on the firm to slash their rates. Asking because I’m genuinely considering applying to A&M.

Directors! Where do you find swipe for treatments? As an AD I’ll spend months trying to find the very best visual references for a video project, only to receive treatments FULL of the most perfect imagery I never found that y’all magically whipped together in a tiny fraction of that time! What resources are your AD friends missing?

I’m almost four years in the industry, all at one agency. I’m in a small market and can’t really move to another city. My most recent review was positively glowing, and was the first GOOD review I’ve ever gotten from my CD in the four years I’ve worked for him. I was promised a raise and a title change (technically I’m still a junior). I’m so annoyed and feel so used, i’m not even excited about the good review and recently sold work. Kinda feeling lost, I guess.

Is winged eyeliner appropriate for a professional setting? I had a female coworker once tell me that was all she could look at when we first met - that it was “really intense for a corporate setting”.
I know a lot of Asian girls do this eyeliner style to make themselves appear more engaged/approachable so I want to make it more acceptable.
