Been with a marketing agency for almost 2 years now. Was overlooked for my annual review and then in August the company was acquired, so I've been part of the other company for 90+days now. Always give 100% and take on new challenging duties, my new supervisor has already commented that she and other directors take notice. Asking for an increase soon and curious what metrics or evidence would be best to present my case. I would really like to grow within rather than jumping ship.

My SO is scared to ask his parents for his money back. The money they were holding on to for him. Now that he’s a grown man I think he’s old enough to hold on to his own money. He like needs a valid excuse to ask for it back and I’m like why do you need an excuse when it’s your money and he’s like well I don’t want to start a fight…. I've had B4, industry accounting and wealth management jobs and there's always been something I was not satisfied with, leading me to find something else. I've been in my current role (industry) for about a year and am already bored and looking at opportunities.
