Wait the last 2 are so easy? Those can hardly be considered technical questions

sooo.... what is the new revenue recognition policy?

Ok ok those are bad

I was shocked at the technical questions I was asked. I really was not expecting those.

I've been on interviews where I've had to take a Wonderlic test. That shit ain't no joke.

What LoS? If consulting that makes sense.

Omg Advisory- internal Audit. I was asked about the new revenue recognition policy, the difference between internal and external audit, the audience of each and so on.

I thought so too especially for a senior position.

They were many more questions asked. I forgot some of them. One question was about risks related to the treasury function. I was also asked about how internal auditors audit processes. And many more

At least some people think so. The interviewer was grilling me.

When I was interviewing for senior position at PwC, they told me there will be no technical questions. First interviewer and I connected well and somehow we started talking about warrants. He then says "I'm not supposed to ask technical questions but...." then asked me a lot about equity transactions. But yeah it's really weird they'd ask that level if specific questions about internal audit.

Those seem pretty easy and on par with something a senior should know

Good question Senior Associate 1.

I have a final round interview for a non-investment role at a hedge fund in the NYC area. I was told I would be discussing comp with the founder of the fund. What kind of compensation can I expect going into the conversation? The firm has about 35 employees and $15bn AUM. Role is business development/client service associate and this would be my first full time role. I just want to have a general idea of what comp could/should be so I feel prepared to discuss

Can interviewers tell if you are articulating a well-prepared story? I practiced about 15 stories for few months, used them, did not clear the interview. Versus lately, I did not prepare at all, only did "conversational stories" with interviewers and got an offer. Is this normal?

Hi 🐠 two offers — would love to hear any insight: Offer 1: Walmart senior product manager: $200K base; $50k bonus, $40k stock vesting 4 years, $40k stock each year (vesting 4 years), $20k signing. TC YR1= $280k Offer 2: pre-ipo start up product manager, $145k base, $55k bonus, $40k shares, $15k signing. TC YR1=$225K. Work at startup is more interesting and greater WLB but not sure if the $$ makes it worth it. Thanks!
