Don’t listen to BCG much. I say this is a celebration!! I’d have a tiny Twix.

I dated a guy in college who told me that if his future wife gained 30 pounds he would divorce her. I told him that’s the equivalent of me saying I’ll leave my husband if he loses 30% of his hair and it wasn’t fair.
Ran into him 10 years later... and he had major hair loss AND weight gain.
I might’ve been that petty bitch that reminded him of his statement and asked how his dating life was going 😂

Yeah but no fun in reeling in someone’s misery. When shit had happened then you had hurt and picked yourself and moved on and build a happy life on your merit not based on someone’s sadness or misery. Don’t minimize that by enjoying at his misery. He doesn’t matter to you and whether he is happy or sad doesn’t matter either. You and he are done and you have moved on.
Honestly, on superficial things like being plump you can’t judge he isn’t doing good. Maybe he is content with the supposed crappy job and has something great happening at home and being fat or thin doesn’t matter after a point.
Don’t go down that route.
Be above it and maintain your self esteem on your merits.
Didn’t mean to rain on your parade. Sorry but I shared what I felt.
Always that one person
Great feeling. My abusive ex has been going through hell since I left him, while everything for me has been amazing. Karma is a b💕tch. Be grateful she graces your life
Yes all are valid points and usually I’m not one to applaud someone else’s misery BUT HEAR ME OUT. This guy literally cheated on my with every alive creature he could. Guys, girls, random people from the internet, literally everything. He hid from me that he was addict to pain killers for almost a year until one time we went on a trip together and I found out, then he threatened me that he would OD if I left him. We were on and off for a while until I was able to break that up for good. But trust me it was the worst time in my life. He put me through hell
I’m sorry that happened to you! And glad you are living your life to the fullest and he’s not hahah
Sweet feeling huh?
Unpopular take: he could very well be happy and fulfilled despite being fat and having a low paying job. Who knows? Either way, I support you continuing to do what makes you happy!

Cheers to that🥂

OP totally understand the spirit of tour post! And yes, it’s an amazing freaking feeling and so powerful. Especially after someone treats you like sh!t. Ran into my manipulative ex who got engaged 2 weeks after we broke up and is now married and miserable. I looked and felt amazing and it was the best retribution, to just be living my best life!! Happy for you! 🥂
