2. If yes, can you start working at the client location while the LCA is being filed?

Thoughts on project manager role at Amazon?
I am on a magical project with limited travel, the world's chilled client, and my first call of the day is at 930am. I hope everyone has this experience...it has restored my sanity.
How do I nicely tell a director (not the one I report to) that I don’t want to work on a project that she’s trying to get me on? My manager and I already had a conversation about me not working on this specific thing (he and I both agree it isn’t something that’ll help my case for promotion, doesn’t need three people working on it, etc). Manager said he’d talk to her but it isn’t sinking in…

How do people get flagged for layoff? Have good reviews but can’t seem to get a response on a project assignment. Is there a list you get on?
Client asks us to design a poster for an IMAX movie that features how blockbuster movies are made. One of the key features in the movie is King Kong so we featured it prominently on the poster as well. Client asks seriously whether we need to be concerned about offending an African American audience. I shit you not! Arguably my most jaw dropping moment in this business.

My nerves got the best of me.
I’ve been interviewing to land an entry-level agency role for a few months now & have had dozens of interviews w/o issues.
I was interviewing for a role at an agency I’ve interviewed w/ for several teams & finally thought I’d receive an offer.
I interviewed with HR since the hiring manager was OOO, & randomly got nervous & choked up for a sec.
I blew it, & they extended an offer to someone with “strong client facing communication skills.”
Was it my nerves?
To people who have worked on both, what is the main difference in responsibility for a consultant working on a COTS delivery project compared to more bespoke agile one? I have experience in agile bespoke delivery, would I find it easy to switch to COTS implementation?

Rolling off my project and my CC said he can find work for me in the burbs an hour away. How do I avoid? Or should I even?
Hey fish, need some career advice. I recently got promoted to senior! We have been working on a client deliverable to close a project and my current engagement has two made directors who I work with directly( one just got promoted from SM this July ) . During one of our discussions in putting this doc together, I may have come out as “aggressive”/“opinionated . I’m generally the quiet one , asking for feedback and listening in mostly. I didn’t realize it in the moment but at that point (contd)
Does your project have an "up or out" approach?
Do you feel like you're allowed to *not* want to climb the ladder and still be respected for the work you do?
So, I’ve been interviewing and receiving job offers but I’m still in the middle of a project that I am booked on through November. Is it frowned upon to leave during the project? Or is it expected that I at least stay until November?
Thoughts on % increase to expect from an internal promotion from an AD to a Director in Analytics? I work at a large, privately held comms agency.

If I have between 4-6 years of media buying experience and am also doing paid search, I am Google Certified. What should my salary be? With so much remote work happening right now should we be still allowing employers to use the excuse of average salary for your location?
How do you deal with counter offers? I have an offer to join a larger tech company in a more senior role, with bonus and RSUs that my current start up can’t match. But my current company want me to stay. They offered an increased base salary which is still below the new offer and I went back and said no, so they might increase. This only came about by me exploring a headhunt approach after being underpaid by my current company for the time I’ve been here . Would you hear them out or just leave?
Is Pokémon a good company to work for?
Hey guys! I have 7 years of Project Management (Change Management & Human Capital) experience and am currently 1099 Independent Consulting. I'm looking to step back into a perm role. I've worked with some pretty big clients and have put out some feelers but, does anyone know someone who is hiring for someone with my experience? I can share my resume if that's helpful. Also, if you have any advice for someone who is re-entering the workforce after being an I.C. I'd appreciate that.
If I have one offer already and I have an HR discussion pending with another company. So, should I tell HR that I have already an offer of xx CTC? Or should I get offer letters from both the companies without much negotiation and then asked for the salary match?

I’m interviewing for a role with Aledade. I wonder if anyone has worked for them? Would love to learn more about advancement within the company.. the pay is a tad low for what I was expecting so I don’t wanna be locked in to that salary if there’s no room for growth. Thank you!

Colleague just left and his letter said so.🤔
2020 fall admit here. Many of my main drivers for business school have been impacted by COVID-19, such as getting back on campus and meeting new people. Concerned I’ll be wasting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity starting b-school likely virtual. How have others approached the decision of going, deferring, or not going? Seems like a debate around the “least bad” choice
