Moms, would you recommend international travel with 2-3 month old in early 2021 if the COVID situation improves? My family is not able to travel for delivery and I know I am being selfish, but I really want to spend part of my maternity leave with my parents and family. This will also be a chance to spend a month with them, which is super rare given we never get leaves that long! Anyone been this mad? Is it my 30 week hormones messing my brain?

I’m on an international flight and contemplating pumping from my biz class seat. Is that weird? How have the moms who have pumped from their seats do it? I usually run to the plane’s bathrooms.

Suggestions for a two kid travel system? We have an infant and a two year old and I’m not sure if we should get a double stroller, a large wagon, or stick with the stroller we have and walk with the baby in a carrier. We only go on walks in the neighborhood so don’t use the stroller extensively.

Anyone else seriously exhausted by the holiday season? With work, cleaning & decorating, making travel plans and shopping for presents I just feel run down and tired and we're not even close to Christmas yet. My husband tries his best but I feel like so much of the holiday season falls on women's shoulders to handle. Am I wrong?

Where would you go internationally to celebrate a milestone bday? Not as big of a partier anymore but am a huge foodie and prefer destinations that provide a lot to do (whether active/sporty or sight seeing, I’m not into beach lounging/just sitting around). AUS is the only place on my bucket list but inflation + travel industry changes are increasing the budget of that trip to an amount I feel is more appropriate for a honeymoon and not just a 2 week trip 😅

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

I remember when I first started working on my thesis project. My adviser asked me to get some funding for it, but he didn't give me any advice about how to do that. He just told me that if I wanted money for my project, I'd have to go through some kind of committee process and submit an application for funding from them. Sure enough, after weeks of writing applications and waiting around for responses from the committee members (who were always too busy), I eventually got approved for funding!
