We are set to fly to India from San Francisco in less than a week. With what is in the news for Omicron, we’re really nervous with all the travel restrictions and cases on the rise. Anyone also traveling to India? Anything we should know? Are we better off postponing? I’ve already had COVID once so I think all this just fuels my anxiety around COVID.

My mom lost my stepdad last year in a tragic accident. She stopped eating for a bit and lost weight. Lately I've gained weight (work/parenting stress in a pandemic, working attorney hours, not exercising like I did pre-COVID, not eating well). It's no mystery. I know why I gained weight. But my mom has started to try to give me advice on weight loss. Keeps referring to how I should do what she did. It's taking everything I have not to say, "What? Have my husband die?" Pray for me.

I’m over consulting and just want to do van life (or van life lifestyle). I want to up and quit but I’m really struggling to find a solid remote job. For context I’ve been solo traveling around since we can work remote so I’ve done a trial run of this. I know it is not always glamorous and vans are expensive.

How much of a salary increase (%) is standard or expected when switching consulting firms for a similar level / role? Currently at 150K and was offered 170K (13% increase) — obviously the total package needs to be considered but the base salary is arguably the most important factor. Appreciate your thoughts & any advice!
