What is the funniest and/or most awkward Zoom moment you’ve had at work?

I worked at LinkedIn and one of the senior leaders was sharing screen during a meeting. The conversation shifted but the leader didn’t stop sharing screen. This person navigated to Yahoo news and clicked on an article filled with women in bikinis. This individual spent a solid 2-3 mins on the article scrolling and stopping to look at each woman. Needless to say this leader was very distracted by other things on our call.

I work with quite a few oldheads in my department, I’d like to know how to convince the higher-ups that we need to evolve our strategies to bring us in line with best current practices. However, I don’t want to act out of line or be disrespectful since this is my first role and I have less than a year here.

In my office we have a very small number of black people. I don’t know the exact numbers but it doesn’t seem like more than 10. All of them I know >3 are on a personal improvement plan for very basic reasons. One faced blatant racism and was placed off the project. Therefore it was harder for this person to find a new project. How to investigate if this is correlates with microagressions and discrimination towards black people? Any ideas? How to convince non POC that this is a problem?

PSA: The hours aren't going to better if you lateral to my firm. That is just what we tell people to get them to lateral. We are all liars. Also, we have asshole partners here too and no one is doing anything to stop them from being assholes. You and I won't be friend if you lateral over here until I catch you crying in the break room on a Sunday night and I hand you a La Croix. When I ask my manager for advice about how to do something, he usually just tells me I'll "figure it out yourself." But when it comes down to it, he doesn't help me at all by doing that—he just makes me feel like an idiot. And then when I do figure it out myself and bring the answer back to him, he won't even look at it! He'll just say something like "Oh yeah, thank you," and give me another assignment.

Can anyone recommend a resume writer that is not charging hundreds of dollars per hour? Many of the writers I've been finding and interviewing are for more senior level/executive management decision makers.
