For those who do not see themselves making partners in PA, what other opportunities should they look at if they don’t enjoy industry tax jobs either?
I have been practicing family law for 7 years and made partner at my firm. But with Covid and some big (happy) life moments this past year I keep wondering if the stress is worth it and can feel myself burning out. Has anyone made a successful transition entirely out of family law? Is there anyway to go in house after practicing family law? I don’t want to do estate planning because I am not at all familiar with that area of law. Federal clerkship?
need sanity check pls. i am 6m pregnant with twins, have a history of miscarriages&specialists urged us to be extremely careful since covid19 can lead to stillbirth. My SO is staying with his parents this week to help with renovation. We agreed they'd follow social distancing rules while SO is living there, but he just told me his parents are spending hours with their friends in closed spaces wearing no masks! Now he has to stay 5 days longer and test prior to coming home. Right to be angry?
I am considering a 4 year degree since it is of no $ from me, my current bachelors isn’t in IT but I plan to stay in the tech realm until retirement or I win the lottery. What should I consider majoring in that would be the basis knowledge to help in my technology career? No math heavy paths, please.

Different kind of question, but I’ve been thinking of going back to school lately. I am currently in a job I’m not insanely passionate about, but the money is good and the boundaries are great — I’m not overworked. Is anyone else pursuing a masters or PhD while also maintaining their full time job?
Hello there! I'm currently getting specialized into AI/ML and want to get into the finance/Fintech sector. Is a MSc worth it for the task - an online course would do?
Also, I'm new to the platform and based on what I read, most of the users are from the USA, is there no European influence here??
