2. Coforge as Tech Analyst. CTC - 21 LPA with 5% Var Pay.

Looking at the present situation of companies, which would provide better carrier growth ?

Just here to vent that I feel severely disadvantaged for being a POC with partnership aspirations my firm. I've seen much younger white associates in my practice group get to go on client pitches, and as an nearly 7th year associate, I haven't been invited to go on a single one (even after voicing concerns about this to the partners in my group). I do great work, bill a lot of hours, and think I have a solid reputation but it's hard not to read the writing on the wall here. :(

Since I joined kpmg india, I am on bench.
I requested reporting manager to allocate me to some project. He instead, made me backup in an ongoing project with no tagging and continuously asking me to take ownership of ongoing issue. I've no idea of project's background and it appears that he is forcing a task on me.
The team mates are not cooperative as well.
If I send a message, no one replies on time.

Can someone tell me what can I do in this case?

I have a ledger downloaded from accounting system. In the description there is client name and then project number EX ajajj 18-18900-1 and then on occasion there will be a date afterward. The list is all different client name and project numbers with different lengths, number etc. I want to pull the project number from each cell into its own cell. What is the best way to do this? I’ve tried a few things but am falling a bit short.

Firms should really start lowering the mandatory retirement age in partnership agreements before these old out of touch partners drive the entire industry into the ground. Limited at my current firm due not having CPA. I want to take a few months off to take the exams and then re-enter the market seeking a manager role ( 6 years experience) at a mid to larger size firm. Does this sound like a good idea or should I find a manager role at a smaller firm that doesn't require CPA? Any other options I should be considering?
