Don't get this. Is you CC on your account team?

like

Must not have been a good fit all around. Your CC is probably happier now and hopefully you won't have to be around the client too much

CC? Concealed Carry? CockOtoo? Credit Card?

Yup A1

A2 he was and rolled off.

I can attest to the fact we have some shitty CCs. We also have some clients with unreasonable expectations. Either way, acknowledge the feedback from the client like you would about any other teammate and move on.

Was forced out of a firm after more than a decade last year. Started my own law firm. Today I got a new client who called my old firm and fired one of my ex colleagues to come with me and told them they were coming to my firm. The colleague and I were close, but this is business and I don’t feel bad. Although I have been acquiring unhappy clients of my old firm for a while now, this was the first who was on a current retainer with the former firm. Life is much better on my own. :)

Is it doable to job hunt while traveling, or do you suggest I find a local/remote project?

Returned from sick leave and found out from other people at the office I totally messed up on a project that I worked on prior to sick leave. Now that my reputation has been ruined and facing an upcoming negative performance review. No one at the office stood up for me despite of positive work done prior to COVID or wants to hear what I have to say. I m bothered by this gaslighting practice both professionally and personally. I felt I was designated as the scape goat. Continued.

Been an art director for 12 months but grown in my role significantly & my boss told me my next promo was “political”. I’m managing well over 1.5M a year, 9 brands. Functioning with little to no oversight on a day-to-day basis, w/ only strategy checkins with my CD. 100% client facing. I’m managing 1 direct report and from 2-8 copy and art freelancers at any time. I feel like all my stretch goals are ACD focused. Yet still need SAD before ACD. Does this sound like an art director? Fellow consultants, I’m struggling and I know complaining about this will only make me look weak but I need to vent. I’ve been working upwards of 60 hours a week since January and I’m tired. If I was doing meaningful work, it would be one thing but most of my days are spent supporting my client with fire drills that end up not mattering. He’s very reactionary and trying to guide him to hold off or think of other approaches doesn’t work. (Cont).
