The company I just started working for implemented Paylocity last year and it is a nightmare. My team is spending half their time reconciling payroll, filing state taxes, etc. Anyone know a great Paylocity consultant? We have to fix this or cancel our contract and move to another vendor.

They must have misted up during implementation. You should have a Paylocity account manager

I have been using Paylocity since fall 2019 and implemented it myself. It seems like something is missing for you. They should be filing all your taxes and curious on payroll reconciliation? Send me a DM if you can or leave your email.

I have never heard good things about Paylocity. I don't have any experience with it myself, but everyone I know who uses it says its awful.

I've been hearing mixed reviews about Paylocity. We haven't tried it yet since we are still collecting reviews. Did you inform the admin about this?

I have had the same experience. We have been spending countless hours reconciling payroll, attempting to get our file feeds accurate, and trying to get our benefit deductions correct. I have notified their "leadership team" and my sales rep of my issues but have not gotten any response from them. Even my "Account Manager" told me she was not available to help with my payroll issue until 4 days into the future. I have had to call their customer service number where I have to talk to someone different each time and re-explain the issue every single time. It is going on two weeks now and it is still outstanding. I did finally speak with someone on Friday who stated they would escalate it, but I have very little faith it will be resolved before we process our next payroll. This has been the worst implementation experience ever. I would not recommend them if you are expecting quality customer service. Their technology is great, but they really need to work on their customer service and training models. It's been terrible.

Any other agencies have official work times of 8:30-5:30?

Majority of my department has been informed we will need to look for other positions internally due to our jobs being outsourced. Since I can only work remotely for my company due to location, is it best to resign or to hold out in hopes for a transition to another department?

Hi everyone! I’d like to create a simple graphic of our HR operational calendar for my client group. A visually appealing infographic that outlines our annual talent cycles (talent planning, performance reviews, promotion nominations, merit, etc) so leadership always knows what’s coming and can better prepare and strategize. Any ideas on how I can best visually represent this? Any tools, programs or templates you recommend? Thanks!

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I’m not old BUT when I was younger I thought it was important to have all the alphabets after my name (I.e. Phr, SHRM and all the others). I learning that the younger crowd coming into the market thrives off these identifiers yet they know very little about the real world aspects of the job. I watch leadership roll their eyes at the email footers. I feel like keeping those attached to my name hurts my credibility so I removed them…. I’m I thinking wrong?
