Does it usually take this long for Microsoft to get back to applicants? The role starts in January so i feel like it’s already been filled. I just don’t want to accept another position with out hearing back from Microsoft first. Any advice would be much appreciated!

I have a phone interview for a Senior TPM role with Amazon and was asked to have a pen and paper handy. Has anyone gone through this process? I have done some research and apparently the phone interview should be behavioural questions only, wondering why I would need a pen and paper. I was given the location Mumbai in offer letter and my desired location is hyderabad. My doj is one week away and I got a call from an account manager recently and was told that the account operates from multiple locations and hyderabad is one among them. He told me that he would allocate me hyderabad location once I join as they do not have any location constraint. Is it possible to allocate the desired location like that even if there is a diff location in offer letter? Please help.

So I’ve been talking to this guy I met on a dating app. And we’ve been talking over the phone and FaceTiming for about a month now. We live in different states but would want to meet up. Is it reasonable to ask if he’s talking to other women? Or is that pretty standard with these dating apps to be talking to multiple people until you both decide to be exclusive. I feel like your partner/significant other is supposed to be that person you can confide in and feel comfortable enough to tell them anything and you know, just get that feeling that they can be there for you when you feel down. I don’t get that feeling with who I’m with. I mean..I guess it all comes down the fact that you’re on your own through everything. But damn..it sure is a lonely feeling sometimes.

People who are poor communicators (written or oral) make me irrationally annoyed. The way someone expresses themselves says a lot about how their mind works. For a lot of people I deal with on a daily basis, their erratic, unstructured, unfocused, verbose and inarticulate speech makes me wonder how they accomplish anything at work or otherwise.

A former pledge is trying to sue my old fraternity and University for what happened during the pledging process 8 years ago.

A video came out of this process called Man-ification. This only happened if a particular pledge expressed "woke," "liberal," or "cowardly" views. They would be strapped to a table with their hands and feet tied. They would be struck w/ a belt across the back until they "repented for their views."
