I have been. I was thrown in as a SC into the consulting world and I did not expect it to be so different. I called it out openly in my next project and people always have me the chance as I had other strengths such as point of view and analysis but I took me time to figure out how consulting works

Hey guys, I just found this group and I’m hoping for some guidance/advice! I’m hoping to get into one of the Big 4s or MBB and finally got a few referrals once joining FB. I am 29, have an MA in IOP, and 10 YEO. I have never worked for a non-Jewish company (despite trying pretty damn hard to get out) and I’m freaking out. I have no concept of normal professionalism, strategy for navigating the workplace and the real world in corporate USA,(cont. in comment)

It's really pathetic to see guys getting desperate on this bowl and due to such guys all of us get labelled creeps. I can understand you guys are not getting any due to the skewed gender ratio but please maintain some dignity. I am sure if the gender ratio was skewed in reverse then women won't be behaving in such a desperate manner and would rather stay single. My request to all guys is please have some self respect because this desperation won't lead you anywhere

I've seen many here state that Landlords and using housing as an investment should illegal. I'm curious how those folks think housing should work in the absence of investors / landlords. Does the government own / subsidize tons of property to rent out? Prices should be theoretically cheaper but if you can't buy, are you screwed / won't be able to rent from anywhere?
