Am I allowed / is it okay to get a vaccine in NYC if I currently take several super-potent topical corticosteroids? Technically they’re listed on the list of eligible co-morbidities and recently a ton of zip-code restricted appointments just opened up in my area (which is an area hard hit by Covid), but conflicted about if this counts as an underlying condition...

So I was selected to serve in an organization with 2 chairs. We were told that we would have an in person conference next week for 2 days. Then, covid happened. Then, reopening, etc. We were told the conference may or may not be virtual. The members followed up with the chairs a month out and were told we would be told whether it was virtual or not. Hi folks, I need some advice.. I’ve been with my company 18+ years. Over covid I moved to FL from NYC but now my office is reopened 50%. They’ve been expecting me to commute weekly at my own expense. It’s now too expensive to look at resigning a lease in nyc. Should I expect them to pay for anything over 50% since that’s the requirement of in-office time? Or should I cut my loses and move on? The only issue is much less opportunity/pay in FL but I’m going broke for this company

Does your firm send out office wide emails when people test positive for Covid and list the floors the person was on? For supposedly trying to preserve anonymity, they really narrow the number of people by listing office floors

I have an employee who has been out on Mat leave since beginning of October. She is scheduled to come back beginning of Jan. COVID finally hit my entire household. My husband, me, my 3 yo and my 6 month old. We have been able to avoid it this entire time until last week. My direct boss isn’t so forgiving on me taking any time off for it. My husband had to take a prorated family care leave to get the two weeks off that the kids have to be isolated from daycare. I’m still recovering and nothing I have is urgent. I keep getting wishy washy statements from my boss about charge hours and you only have so much FTO to take.

Week 11-12, I got Covid (coming out of quarantine now). I’m Moderna vaxed too. Every healthcare professional was like, I’m glad you’re vaccinated. All seems to be Ok. Have my 13 week Nucal next Friday.
