New to consulting and starting on my first project next week. What's the best kind of luggage to get to travel with your suits and other things?

What are some good questions to ask the client for the project you’re proposed for during an interview?

what do you guys do when your project is slow / doesn’t require much work from you for a certain amount of time

Left PwC few months ago to join Deloitte and shocked with how bad the technology at Deloitte is. Also makes me think it's for the best after reading all the online ranting about Vialto Partners. A bit clueless as what the future can be, but at this moment I'm losing interest towards working further in tax. For someone who only worked in Tax roles, is it easy to take a transition into Project/Program manager roles? No tech background here! Deloitte, Vialto Partners, PwC

In Deloitte Advisory as SC and was told I will not be promoted, despite very high client and PRD ratings. Apparently, it is simply Advisory policy to keep folks down an extra year if possible (cont.)

My favorite meetings are the Friday afternoon internal meetings where people yell over each other because the project plan is at high risk.

Has anyone taken an exit opp into a "program manager" role at a tech company? Is this just a hellscape of PMO and creating project tracking slides??

Hi.If i join wipro in MArch month for band 3, would i still receive full VP during the end of quarter? Or it would be partial?

That feeling when the planning for a project gets thrown out the window and the higher up people demanding a complete remake of the work, are not the ones staying the late late nights 🤷🏻‍♀️

Up for promotion in current role, and weighing two offers (1 pending). Having a hard time deciding if I should leave or not, given impending promo, economic market, and I like my client/company. Current base $146k (TC $160K), expected promo base $178k (TC $197k). Exit offer for $180k base (TC $220k)

I have my first deposition on Thursday. However, it was noticed by our co-defendant to depose Plaintiff so I will not be running the show. I expect co-defendant counsel to ask a majority of the questions I would have asked, but we are also adverse parties as the co-defendant cross claimed my client.

Any general advice to a young attorney about to take their first depo and also specifically for the circumstances that will be present in my depo?

Hi all,

I have worked in production operations as production supervisor and manager, I have handled data extensively for production related activities and moreover I have developed macros to automate routine tasks.

I feel like I should change my field and go to project management.

Can anyone please suggest me the best way to do this change.

Thanks a lot!!

Got staffed in PAM Sailpoint, Okta, now moving to CyberArk next project. What's the exit ops for this line of work?

I can’t help but feel guilty whenever I complain about a project. In the grand scheme of things, I make a lot of money to sit and talk to people - no hard labor. Anyone else feel this way?

I shared on the women’s bowl: I have an MD who said “he must want to sleep with you!” When a client responded really well to me. And then a month later the MD asked if I was early pregnancy when I peed 3x during a 1 hr meeting (I’m not, I just had to pee). This is 2020. With everything he sees and knows, he is 💯 comfortable with this.
